The Quantum Link Energy Systems Solar Heat Pump stemmed from initial research and development carried out at the University of Melbourne in conjunction with Siddons Industries. The product can be produced in various forms including domestic water heating, space heating, drying systems and swimming pool heating systems and is the most efficient Solar Heat Pump System in the world.
The principle of the solar boosted heat pump used in these systems allows the units to operate highly efficiently in a range of climate zones and to generate substantial electricity savings as compared with conventional units. The solar units are effectively twice as efficient as any other conventional heat pump system and almost twice as efficient as any other conventional solar water heating system.
